We had the awesome opportunity to take Jessica’s senior portraits, and we took them at the beautiful Southeastern Louisiana University. Southeastern has so many beautiful shooting locations and holds so many memories for its graduates. We took some near the Stadium where Jessica spent her weekends as a Southeastern Cheerleader, in the beautiful friendship circle, and Garrett Hall because everyone loves some yellow brick! We also took some fun photos near the house she use to live in just a few blocks from Southeastern.
One thing that makes senior portraits so fun is the props. We love working with clients that bring fun props. Jessica brought her cap and gown, which is the obvious, but she also brought her Phi Mu foam finger and some champagne to pop open for celebration!
While we had a blast, there were some obstacles we had to work around. The day we decided to take photos was a beautiful day which meant tons of other photographers were there too, so we had to share friendship circle. We were even mistaken for someone else’s photographer which was funny and a bit awkward.
