Not many people realize what goes into planning a proposal. You have to worry about having the right location, the right people, and having someone designated to capture the moment. Needless to say, it’s a lot, but below we’ll help you through the process.

Location
Picking the right location is key to the most memorable proposal. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy either. It just has to be something significant to the two of you. It could be during a family get together, a graduation party, where you first met, or where you first said I love you. It could even be at your house. Just give it some thought, run it by your buds, and move on to the next step!

Your Audience
You don’t have to have an audience but a lot of people decide to. They want friends and family there to help celebrate. But when it comes down to it who do you invite? We’ve got great news for you! You could literally do whatever you want. It can be as big or as small as you want. We shot a proposal where it was just the couple at the location of their first date. We’ve also shot a proposal where it was at a family gathering. They were literally opposite ends of the spectrum but equally as beautiful.

Capture The Moment
One thing that so many people forget about is having someone they trust to be the designated photographer or videographer. Here at Three Twenty Studio, we offer photography or film for your proposal, but you could just as easily get your friend to photograph or video the occasion. Whatever you decide to do, make sure the person you choose is ALWAYS ready and paying attention. The last thing you want is for them to be distracted and miss the big moment!
